Operation Description
The step feeder pushes screws onto the linear guide, where they are sorted with the help of vibrations. Once sorted, the screws arrive at the release mechanism, from which they are fed into the module – the jaws.
When the sensor at the end of the release mechanism detects a screw, it indicates that the release mechanism is full, and the step feeder stops pushing screws.
In case of a screw shortage, an alarm is triggered to signal the need for refilling. If an additional feeder (hopper) is available, refilling is performed automatically.
